Angelique Hofacre begins her sobriety journey, laying the foundation for what would become Da Vinci Recovery Homes.

Florida Nonprofit Established
Da Vinci Recovery Inc. becomes a registered Florida nonprofit organization, formalizing its mission to serve women in recovery.
2018
Animal Rescue Initiative Launched
Launch of the nonprofit animal rescue initiative, integrating compassion, responsibility, and purpose into the recovery model.
2019
State Recognition & Professional Certification
Recognized by the Florida recovery residence oversight board. Angelique becomes a Certified Recovery Residence Administrator (CRRA).
2020
Pasco County Homeless Coalition Membership
Da Vinci becomes an active member of the Pasco County Homeless Coalition, expanding community partnerships and outreach.

Da Vinci evolves into a one-of-a-kind recovery environment, combining structured sober living with animal rescue, hands-on responsibility, and therapeutic engagement — setting it apart as the only animal-focused recovery home of its kind on Florida’s West Coast.

Da Vinci Unleashed Opens
Opening of Da Vinci Unleashed — the on-site dog training, daycare, and grooming facility, expanding vocational training and community integration opportunities for residents. Da Vinci Recovery becomes the first animal-focused recovery center on the West coast of Florida making it one of only 2 in the state.
